Originally from Joliet, Illinois, Mr. Tira moved to California to attend the University of San Diego.  He graduated from USD summa cum laude with a Bachelor's of Business Administration (emphasis in real estate) and a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science (minor in Catholic Studies).  He was elected Phi Beta Kappa and participated in several different clubs and student organizations.

While in law school, Mr. Tira became interested in real estate and tax law.  He completed numerous courses in USD's L.L.M. in Taxation Program with a particular emphasis on estate tax law.

Mr. Tira enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, and exercising.
